Abstract

No 5alpha-reductase activity was found in plasmic membranes from male rats hypothalami. Contrary to all expectation, it was found that 5alpha-dihydrotestosterone which was synthetized in microsomes or nuclei, was accumulated in plasmic membranes. The significance of this fact is at the moment unknown.
