Fibromyalgia (FM) is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, psychological disturbances, and sleep issues. This was linked to reduced levels of malondialdehyde, tumor necrosis factor-α, and prostaglandin E2, alongside increased superoxide dismutase and interleukin-10. Additionally, HNK downregulated the expression of calcitonin gene-related peptide and the JAK/STAT3 gene. These findings suggest that HNK alleviates FM symptoms through its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and anti-apoptotic properties, indicating its potential as a therapeutic agent for FM.
