The extracts ofhave significant cytotoxicity especially on U937 cells and pro-inflammatory release of nitric oxide on RAW 264.7 macrophages. The GC-MS study of the essential oil showed it had more than a hundred compounds. This study showed thathave antineoplastic and anti-inflammatory activities which can be further explored in In Vivo studies.
