It really is possible.  We women don’t need have to suffer through the  long list of PMS and menopause symptoms i.e. fatigue, foggy brain, hot flashes, loss of libido, night sweats, trouble sleeping, weight gain etc.   

Most of us know that there are simple things we can do to lessen these symptoms, like cutting back on sugar, caffeine and alcohol. But for many women eliminating these possible offenders does nothing to lessen their menopause symptom.  They find themselves in another symptom pattern of missing the caffeine or sugar or??  So what else we can do naturally that is drug free.. i.e. natural???

There is one supplement you can add to your diet that will start helping almost immediately.  It’s not that well known.  Most MD doctors don’t learn about supplements so they don’t know to tell you about it but alternative medicine practitioners often prescribe it.

It’s called DIM. It stands for Diindolylmethane which is a mouth full so it’s marketed as DIM.   This phytonutrient and plant indole is found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower and kale (no wonder these are such powerful foods). DIM metabolizes estrogen and can reverse years of build-up and damage caused by estrogen-dominance.

As you may know, many chemicals in our environment behave like estrogens. i.e. parabens, Bisphenol A in water bottles, skin creams, cows milk has hormones.  The list is long.  We have spent a lifetime ingesting foods and unknowingly putting chemicals on our bodies that create estrogen–dominance.  This excess of estrogen is responsible for the discomfort during our monthly cycles and the intense changes of menopause.
