Dear GreenMedInfo Readers and Supporters,
I wish I could report that recent attempts to de-platform us were happening only to us. Unfortunately, most advocates of natural health and health freedom today are undergoing similar, or even worse levels of censorship. But there is a silver lining to this. After all, if we weren't taking a stand in the inconvenient truth, and referencing facts and perspectives not allowed within mainstream outlets, would we really be receiving so much negative attention and attempts to shut us down?
Over the past few years, GreenMedInfo has seen our reach via social decline precipitously, despite the abundant evidence that grassroots interest natural health continues to expand globally. This is evident through the hundreds of thousands of followers who signed up to receive our content through our newsletter and social media pages on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and most recently Instagram. Or, just look at how mainstream the health food craze is now throughout the U.S., and how Big Tech companies like Amazon swallowed up brands like Whole Foods in one quick gulp.

It’s for this reason that I'd like to remind our followers (and critics) the primary reason why we exist:
GreenMedInfo's primary advocacy is to support informed consent, a medical ethical principle without which many conventional medical interventions and their significant risks would be considered violent and unethical to practice, such as forced vaccination. Informed consent depends entirely on two things: 1) information that accurately communicates the benefits and risks of interventions, and what available treatments exist (from natural and allopathic). 2) on your full consent to the procedure, once you have been properly informed. Also, we strongly believe that it uethical to allow minors to consent to medical procedures such as HPV vaccine, which carry life-threatening risks, despite organizations like the AMA now changing their guidelines to allow for such a work around parental rights and responsibilities.
GreenMedInfo.com’s database contains about 70,000 studies on over 10,000 distinct topics. Vaccination is one of them. So threatening is the research we showcase on the topic of vaccines (much of it funded by taxpayers and conducted by government scientists), that our entire platform is now being threatened. Information is the currency of democracy, and when the flow of it is curtailed, diverted, or blocked for political reasons, everyone but an extreme minority loses. And as stated above, without free access to this democratic life blood, informed consent can not be made available nor practiced.
Being an informed consent advocate, on all forms of medical intervention, including vaccination, does not make our platform “anti-vaccine,” especially given that the research we provide the public is focused on peer-reviewed science showing the unintended and underreported adverse effects of vaccines, including research showing vaccine failure and/or equivocal efficacy. Despite this, bigoted slurs like “anti-vaxxer,” crafted to dehumanize, polarize, and create animosity, are being projected onto us, and those who support us. If history teaches us anything, this type of othering, and censorship of dissenting and alternative views and voices, leads to coercion, and sometimes even violence.
Now is the time to speak up, support your freedom of speech, and your medical, philosophical and religious rights to bodily self-possession and autonomy vis-a-vis the overreach of the state and corporate interests. We're excited at the prospect that Senator Hawley's new bill is focused on amending Section 230, which grants immunity for Big Tech companies gains the necessary bipartisan and public support needed to have an impact.
