In the wake of last year's Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, internal documents produced by Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, tell a horrid story of the White House (through the office of the Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy) directing tech platforms to censor and label as 'misinformation' true stories of vaccine injury and side effects -- the very definition of a disinformation campaign.
In Senator Jim Jordan’s latest of two posts dubbed the Facebook Files, he reveals the depths to which our government was willing not only to suppress the First Amendment rights of its citizens, but actively target them as 'dissidents' for exercising their protected speech on matters of life and death significance, and without which informed choice and the medical ethical principle of informed consent would not be possible.
Commenting on an internal email produced by Zuckerberg upon threat of contempt, Senator Jim Jordan said: “The Biden administration also wanted Facebook to remove TRUE information as well” and shared a screenshot of a Facebook (Meta) employee stating that “The Surgeon General wants us to remove true information about side effects.”
This revelation has deeply concerning implications, consistent with what surfaced in the Twitter Files as well: namely, that there exists was a carefully coordinated and controlled set of policies across all Big Tech platforms set up on behalf of our government (and foreign influence operation NGOs like CCDH) using Stanford’s Virality Project as a central coordinating nexus, to cover up vaccine harms and to target those who either produced or shared information on the topic as spreaders of “misinformation” or “disinformation.”
The internal emails also revealed that White House went so far as to pressure Facebook to remove humorous posts about the vaccine, including the following meme.
Clearly, anything the White House considered would promote “vaccine hesitancy” was a potential target. In other words, the information required for citizens to make informed medical choices, and the ability to discuss it with friends and family in the modern day equivalent of the public square -- social media -- was actively suppressed; an egregious violation indicating that our government's top health agencies and officials were actively weaponized against their citizenry through Orwellian propaganda tactics serving the political and profiteering motives of the pharmaceutical industry.
The Surgeon General and White House Did Exactly What They Accused US Citizens ("Disinformation Dozen") of Doing: Spreading Mis-, Dis- and Mal-Information
On July 15th, 2021, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek H. Murthy held a press briefing alongside Press Secretary Jen Psaki where they announced an “advisory on health misinformation as an urgent public health crisis” and a released a report titled “Confronting Health Misinformation: The U.S. Surgeon General’s Advisory on Building a Healthy Information Environment [Internet],” intended to counter the rising threat of an “infodemic” allegedly being caused by “misinformation super-spreaders.”

That press conference also drew specific attention to 12 people, including myself, presidential candidate RFK Jr., Dr. Mercola, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, describing this arbitrarily conceived group as: “12 people who are producing 65 percent of anti-vaccine misinformation on social media platforms. All of them remain active on Facebook, despite some even being banned on other platforms, including Facebook — ones that Facebook owns.”
Their list of 12 people was provided by a fake 'grassroots' group called the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), recently revealed to be a UK-based foreign influence operation being funded by charities, including two of which receive grants from the UK government itself. CCDH fabricated this fake and highly defamatory report it called the "Disinformation Dozen" and which Facebook itself confirmed was entirely false, calling it a "faulty narrative," "without evidence."
The Surgeon General's report featured the following definition of misinformation:
"Misinformation can sometimes be spread intentionally to serve a malicious purpose, such as to trick people into believing something for financial gain or political advantage. This is usually called “disinformation.”
Clearly, in retrospect, the Surgeon General's report intentionally spread misinformation that was not only false, but maliciously targeted US citizens who shared information about the vaccine harms that they knew were true. They suppressed them anyway because it interfered with the profiteering pharmaceutical companies they were partnering with in spreading egregiously inaccurate and irresponsible information about these mRNA experimental interventions, e.g. "safe and effective," "they stop transmission and reduce hospitalizations," all of which have now been proven false.
This internationally covered press conference would be followed by a wave of manufactured, media-amplified vitriol against us, the 12 named US citizens, even though it was premised upon CCDH's fake report. No doubt, strategically, this ploy distracted from the millions of nameless US citizens who were also being monitored and censored across perhaps billions of social media posts, through a highly coordinated set of private/public partnerships which Matt Taibbi labeled a Vast Censorship Enterprise.
