Catholic Schools Change Policies on Religious Exemption - Take Action Now!

Unless we challenge policies refusing religious vaccine exemptions, we will lose our rights as citizens.  Take action now.

In recent months, Catholic schools around the U.S. have been abruptly changing policy to refuse vaccine religious exemptions, despite clear laws requiring all schools, public and private, to accept religious exemptions. Sadly, they can often get away with this, as few parents are willing to sue a school to force the school to accept their child. However, one brave family in Florida did sue. For reasons unclear to me at this point, and despite the law clearly favoring the parents, the trial court ruled in favor of the Church. So, the parents are taking the case up on appeal. But appeals are very expensive, so they need help. They must raise $40,000 over the next few weeks, and at least $10 right away to get started. We have found a Florida attorney who is also a naturopath who gets it about the vaccine controversy, and he has agreed to take the case if we can raise the necessary funds. He has also agreed to collaborate with me on the legal arguments, which the clients require and I am eager to do, as I have addressed this issue with local attorneys in several states already. The GoFundMe page where the family is accepting donations is here: https://www.gofundme.com/lk9634

This case is very important, as it could have national implications. A win here could have a cooling effect on Catholic and other private schools around the country; and since there is a strong legal argument favoring the parents, I am supporting this case, and am asking for others to help as well. Since you never know how a judge is going to rule until they rule, I do not support court as a means of addressing vaccine controversies unless there is a clear legal argument as I believe there is here, having analyzed this kind of case repeatedly in Florida and other states. But again, we are going to have to have financial support to go forward.

I have already been donating my time, and will be donating more time to help this case to go forward. I will also be collaborating with the Florida attorney on the written legal arguments without requiring funds up front for my work as other attorneys do. So, I am walking my talk on this one when I ask for others to support this case.

About me: I am the nation's only attorney whose practice is focused solely on vaccine exemptions and waivers. I work with clients and attorneys throughout the U.S. concerning vaccine required at birth; for daycare, school and college enrollment; for military members, families, children in military schools, and civilian contractors; for employment, particularly healthcare workers; for immigrants, including foreign adopted children; for children of parents in "vaccine custody disputes" (family law attorneys are not aware of the critical legal arguments unique to vaccines in child custody disputes); and for international travel. I also counsel vaccine legislative activists and legislators around the country regarding vaccine legislation. I have written numerous formal legal analyses explaining why many of the nation's recent vaccine bills violate Constitutional boundaries, to help persuade legislators to support vaccine informed choice and oppose pharmaceutical marketing bills disguised as "health" bills.
