For the past 16 years, GreenmedInfo has been dedicated to providing you with evidence-based natural healing information. We are the only natural health resource of its kind that provides users with direct access to meticulously researched articles on health and wellness, curated research abstracts, and breaking natural health news. And all of this information is available for free.
In the past 16 years, we have experienced considerable growth. Our research now includes over 83,000 peer reviewed research abstracts and over 3700 popular articles. And our members exceed 5000.
We have also experienced multiple hardships. GreenMedInfo has been targeted and censored beginning in 2018. We have lost over 2,000,000 social media followers, been forced to change email service providers multiple times, faced multiple, costly deplatformming events, and have been rendered virtually invisible on Google and other search engines. Our best estimate is that we have lost over $800,000 in revenue due to censorship. All of these events have affected our ability to continue our passion: to help you, our users.
So what do we do now? We get stronger.
Our focus is on building the future of GreenMedInfo and that starts with a new website. Our current website is a technical labor of love with thousands of hours of customizations that provide our advanced search features, data quality rankings, and research documents. All of the things that set us apart from other natural health websites.
The cost to upgrade our site, and still provide you with the same high quality information, ranges from $250,000 - $300,000. And this is on top of our current expenses to keep GreenMedInfo up and running.
