Trust in Vaccines Plummets: Gallup Poll Reveals Seismic Shift in Public Opinion

This seismic shift in public opinion comes after years of heavy-handed mandates, relentless censorship of dissenting voices, and mounting reports of vaccine-related injuries that were often dismissed or downplayed. As the gap between official narratives and public perception widens, one question echoes across the nation: Has the cure for public health become worse than the disease of mistrust?

In a startling reversal of decades-long trends, Americans' faith in childhood vaccines has hit an all-time low, with potential ramifications that could reshape public health policy for generations to come.

A recent Gallup poll has uncovered a significant shift in American attitudes towards childhood vaccinations, potentially signaling a broader erosion of trust in the medical establishment, government health agencies, and mainstream media.¹

Key findings from the July 2024 poll include:

• Only 40% of U.S. adults now consider childhood vaccines to be "extremely important," down from 58% in 2019 and 64% in 2001.
• Just 69% say vaccinating children is either "extremely" or "very" important, compared to 84% in 2019 and 94% in 2001.
• 51% believe the government should require childhood vaccinations, down from 62% in 2019 and 81% in 1991.
• 20% now believe vaccines are more dangerous than the diseases they prevent, up from 11% in 2019 and 6% in 2001.

This dramatic shift comes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and controversial mRNA vaccine rollout. While health authorities and media outlets initially promoted the vaccines as "safe and effective," mounting evidence of adverse events has led to increased skepticism.

Data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) shows concerning trends. According to OpenVAERS.com, as of August 2024:

• 37,814 reported deaths following COVID-19 vaccination
• 217,490 reported hospitalizations
• 1,644,248 total adverse event reports²

Notably, VAERS is estimated to capture only 1% of actual vaccine injuries, suggesting the true numbers could be significantly higher.³

Critics argue that the handling of vaccine information during the pandemic has severely damaged public trust. The initial downplaying of risks, coupled with aggressive promotion campaigns and mandates, appears to have backfired.

Some researchers, like Steve Kirsch, have conducted independent analyses suggesting the mRNA vaccines may be causing unacceptable increases in all-cause mortality. Kirsch claims to have evidence that Moderna's vaccine generates 30% more death reports in VAERS than Pfizer's on a per-dose basis.⁴
